About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Installations Manager to join our team based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. As an Installation Manager, you will be responsible for managing and assisting a team to ensure installations are completed on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Products installed to specification
  • Correct final measurements for manufacturing of all products
  • Installations compliant with building legislation
  • Plan and schedule installations based on priorities and capacity
  • Coordinate workflow between installation functions and supply chain
  • Monitor installation progress and address delays proactively
  • Implement and enforce quality control checks during installation
  • Ensure correct understanding of job specifications before execution
  • Manage and control labour time vs allowed time per job
  • Maintain and enforce health and safety standards
  • Safe and compliant operations
  • Manage and maintain tools and equipment
  • Lead, manage and discipline installation staff
  • Train and develop team members to required competency levels
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of job cards, reports and systems
  • Communicate progress, risks and issues to management
  • Communication with clients iro progress, issues and changes
  • Identify operational problems and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure all job specifications, drawings and requirements are clearly understood before installations
  • Monitor and control time spent vs allowed time per job and address variances
  • Escalate issues early with clear understanding of risks and proposed solutions
  • Enforce discipline, accountability and adherence to standards within the team
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in processes, workflow and productivity
