Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across raw material categories
- Drive high-level supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing and contract terms
- Utilise data analytics and insights to inform sourcing strategies and decision-making
- Build and manage strong, long-term supplier relationships
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing sourcing team
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure alignment with procurement policies, governance, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, and supply chain
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement (CIPS preferred)
- Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics (advantageous)
- 5–6 years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing
- Proven experience within manufacturing or mining environments
- Strong exposure to raw material sourcing
Technical Skills
- SAP (Essential)
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Essential)
- Power BI / Microsoft BI (Intermediate – Advantageous)
