About the Role
We are seeking a creative and organized Social Media & Content Creator to join our team at Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content that reflects our brand and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute in-house photo and video shoots
- Capture content across rooms, spa, F&B, events, and guest experiences
- Direct staff during shoots professionally and efficiently
- Edit photo and video content for social platforms (Reels, Stories, Posts)
- Publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Maintain an organised content library and caption bank
- Manage comments, DMs, mentions, and social enquiries
- Respond professionally and escalate guest concerns appropriately
- Route booking-related enquiries to the Reservations team
Requirements
- 2–4 years social media or content creation experience
- Portfolio of photo, video, and social content required
- Strong Canva skills (required)
- Video editing tools such as CapCut or InShot advantageous
- Confident shooting on smartphone (camera skills advantageous)
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Basic SEO knowledge and keyword awareness advantageous
Qualifications
- Completed Matric or equivalent formal education
