About the Role

We are seeking a creative and organized Social Media & Content Creator to join our team at Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content that reflects our brand and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute in-house photo and video shoots
Capture content across rooms, spa, F&B, events, and guest experiences
Direct staff during shoots professionally and efficiently
Edit photo and video content for social platforms (Reels, Stories, Posts)
Publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Maintain an organised content library and caption bank
Manage comments, DMs, mentions, and social enquiries
Respond professionally and escalate guest concerns appropriately
Route booking-related enquiries to the Reservations team

Requirements

2–4 years social media or content creation experience
Portfolio of photo, video, and social content required
Strong Canva skills (required)
Video editing tools such as CapCut or InShot advantageous
Confident shooting on smartphone (camera skills advantageous)
Strong writing skills and attention to detail
Basic SEO knowledge and keyword awareness advantageous

Qualifications

Completed Matric or equivalent formal education
