About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Agronomist to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for providing technical expertise in agronomic research and agricultural trials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, plant science, or a related field, with extensive experience in designing and conducting agricultural trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and conducting agricultural trials
  • Using statistical analysis tools
  • Providing technical expertise in agronomic research
  • Traveling regularly for work

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Agriculture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Plant Breeding, or a related field
  • 35 years of experience in agronomic research or a technical role within the agricultural sector

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools
  • AVCASA in Crop Protection and/or BASOS/FERTASA certification (beneficial)
