About the Role

Our client, a Food Manufacturing company based in Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Receiving Manager to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the end-to-end receiving process, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all deliveries are accurately received, verified, and processed in line with company standards
  • Maintaining accurate records of all incoming goods using the company’s stock management system
  • Supervising and coordinating the receiving team to ensure efficient and accurate offloading and processing of stock
  • Managing the end-to-end receiving process, including verifying deliveries against purchase orders, checking for damages, and signing off on invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments to resolve delivery queries timeously
  • Contributing to stock takes and cycle counts as required
  • Other related duties

Requirements

  • 25 years experience in a receiving, stockroom, or warehouse supervisory role, preferably within retail or FMCG
  • Strong working knowledge of stock management systems and GRV process
  • Forklift licence advantageous (not essential)

Matric Degree/Diploma in logistics, supply chain or equivalent
