Hire Resolves client is urgently seeking the expertise of an Enrolled Nurse for their General Ward in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record patients vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medication and assist with basic medical procedures.
• Provide personal care and support with mobility, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and handovers.
• Support infection prevention and adhere to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Assist in wound care, specimen collection, and dressing changes.
• Participate in training and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

• Enrolled Nurse qualification from an accredited nursing school.
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse.
• 12 years of relevant nursing experience in a general ward or similar clinical environment.
• Basic knowledge of clinical procedures, patient care, and medication administration.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
• Basic computer literacy, especially in patient record systems.
• Commitment to infection prevention, safety, and quality care standards.
