Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Draughtsperson to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting structural engineers with drawing preparation, coordination, and maintaining drawing standards across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of various drawings, including layout plans, sections, elevations, and detailing.
• Develop conceptual layouts and design details.
• Review drawings prepared by junior draughtspersons to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
• Perform clash detection and manage drawing registers.
• Prepare Revit models and provide general drawing office administration support as required.

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Grade 12).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in reinforced concrete and structural steelwork draughting in the built environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Structures, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certificate of Completion in AutoDesk Revit Structures is essential.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and codes relevant to structural design.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Own vehicle and valid drivers license.
