About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Advisor to join our team in Central Johannesburg. As a Financial Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across various financial planning needs, build strong relationships, and contribute to business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn financial planning processes and client engagement
- Support senior advisors with client servicing and administration
- Build foundational advisory and business development skills
- Manage own portfolio of clients
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning advice
- Achieve individual sales and business development targets
- Manage high-net-worth and complex client relationships
- Lead sophisticated financial planning engagements
- Mentor junior advisors
- Drive business growth initiatives
Requirements
- Relevant financial qualification
- RE5 completed or working towards completion (where applicable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to build a career in wealth management
- Proven advisory experience
- Relevant industry qualifications
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to acquire and retain clients
- Extensive financial planning experience
- Established client base and referral network preferred
- Strong technical knowledge across wealth management disciplines
- Leadership and coaching capability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Financial Planning, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field
- Relevant professional designations advantageous (e.g., CFP® or equivalent)
- Regulatory licensing and accreditation as required
