About the Role
The Centurion: Trainee Field Technician role offers a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a trainee field technician. As a key member of our field operations, you will be responsible for supporting senior technicians in the installation, setup, and maintenance of various field equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and setup of GNSS/GPS, total stations, laser scanners, and drones
- Support senior technicians with maintenance, repairs, and calibration
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Participate in on-site visits to client locations (construction sites, mines, etc.)
- Assist with equipment testing and preparation
- Provide basic user support and guidance to clients (under supervision)
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service records
Requirements
Basic understanding of electronics or engineering principles
Interest in working with surveying or mapping equipment
Willingness to learn technical systems quickly
Qualifications
