About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team at the Durbanville Warehouse as a Warehouse Clerk. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our book storage and distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking boxes against summaries on receipt of cargo
- Unpacking and checking all received books against books invoiced and assessing damages
- Sorting out queries on receiving end
- Ensuring that all invoices have freight numbers, shortages/damages
- Picking books accurately as per TRO (Trade Reference Order)
- Packing of stock
- Strapping and Labelling for couriers
- Assisting in the Warehouse with all returns from entering the warehouse to leaving the warehouse
- General administration
Requirements
- Senior certificate or relevant qualification
- Computer literate (MS Office suite)
- Good communication skills, with a written and verbal command in English
