About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Stores Manager to join our team in East London. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and managing stores, overseeing teams, and ensuring efficient inventory management and stock control.
Key Responsibilities
- Stores leadership and management
- Oversee stores and stores supervisors/team
- Ensure consistent stores procedures
- Monitor team performance
- Inventory management & stock control
- Ensure efficient inventory management
- Stock movement control
- Stock level monitoring
- Reduce ages and obsolete stock
- Systems / process improvement
- Refine stores processes
- Implement best practices
- Optimal use of Syspro ERP
- Drive process improvement
- Goods receiving and dispatch oversight
- Accurate process of GRVs
- Verify stock received corresponds
- Oversee efficient dispatch and distribution of goods
- Procurement & stock replenishment coordination
- Monitor timely replenishment of stock
- Address and resolve PO discrepancies
- Imports and exports coordination
- Oversee admin processes
- Ensure customers compliance
- Reporting & admin
- Maintain stock reports
- Analyze inventory data
- Report on stock variances
Requirements
- Grade 12 with a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or related field is advantageous
- 5 years experience in warehouse/stores/inventory management within manufacturing
- 3 years experience managing teams or supervisors
- Experience using SYSPRO ERP or similar inventory systems
- Strong understanding of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse operations
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
