About the Role
The CNC Programmer at Cre8work! is a hands-on position responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centers, creating CNC programs, and ensuring product accuracy according to drawing specifications. The ideal candidate will be flexible, versatile, and willing to adapt to a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and change tooling of CNC machining centres.
- Generate CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
- Monitor machine accuracy and troubleshoot malfunctions.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in CNC machining centre (not lathe) programming using Fanuc controls.
- Ability to program using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam or Fusion 360).
- Demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate or NQF 4
- Trade Test
