Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyse, and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate process deviations, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Conduct process trials, data analysis, and performance evaluations.
  • Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
  • Manage process-related projects from concept through implementation.
  • Monitor key process indicators and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, production, quality, and engineering teams to achieve operational objectives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BEng/BSc) in Chemical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
  • Experience within paper, pulp, packaging, FMCG, chemical, or continuous processing industries will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of process optimisation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process monitoring tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
