About the Role
Tumaini Consulting is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, implementing stock control systems, and ensuring efficient material handling in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth operations
- Implement and maintain stock control systems and FIFO/LIFO practices
- Supervise and train warehouse staff on raw materials handling and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, material handling, and storage
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- National Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, materials control, or inventory management
- Experience with raw materials handling in a manufacturing environment (plastics, chemicals, FMCG, etc)
- Supervisory or team lead experience required
