About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vehicle Stock Controller to join our team at The Talent Room in George. As a key member of our dealership’s operations, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining vehicle stock records, ensuring accurate and complete documentation, and liaising with various departments to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining vehicle stock records
- Capturing new and used vehicle stock onto dealership systems
- Ensuring all vehicle documentation is accurate and complete
- Processing vehicle invoices and stock reconciliations
- Liaising with sales, finance, and management departments
- Monitoring vehicle movements and stock status
- Assisting with vehicle registration and licensing administration
- Ensuring all stock files are updated and compliant
- Reconciling vehicle stock and reporting discrepancies
- Assisting with month-end stock procedures and reporting
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Stock Controller within a motor dealership is essential
- Strong knowledge of dealership computer systems
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
