About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Debtors Clerk to join our luxury lodge team in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. As part of our finance function, you will be responsible for managing the full debtors function within a luxury lodge environment, ensuring accurate invoicing, efficient collections, and timely reconciliation of all debtor accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full debtors function and accounts receivable process
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices timeously
- Monitor debtor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
- Reconcile debtor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Allocate payments correctly to accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding account queries
- Prepare debtor reports for management when required
- Assist with month-end processes and financial reconciliations
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of debtor/accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Experience with accounting systems
- Strong numerical accuracy and reconciliation ability
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
Finance / Accounting qualification advantageous
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R17,000 – R18,000 CTC
