About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Production Manager to join our team in Hoedspruit, responsible for overseeing production operations and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including yields, costs, and quality control
- Collaborate with farmers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure HACCP/Global Gap/SIZA compliance
- Develop and implement problem-solving strategies to optimize production processes
- Provide administrative support to the production team
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Production or Agricultural qualification
- Agricultural background essential
- Previous experience with citrus, mangoes, or avocados preferred
- HACCP/Global Gap/SIZA background advantageous
- Computer literate
- Strong admin and record keeping skills
- Good problem-solving and interpersonal relationships
- Effective communication skills
