About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our sales and marketing strategy, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with acquisition channels, driving business growth, and ensuring seamless communication between internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with acquisition channels, focusing on mutual benefit and reducing competitor gains.
- Gain a thorough understanding of key acquisition channel needs and grow existing relationships through solution proposals and project initiatives.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with acquisition channels to resolve issues and meet targets, ensuring effective communication.
- Manage aggregator relationships and strengthen external stakeholder relationships through targeted outreach and proactive initiative management.
- Ensure both acquisition channels and our clients deliver on agreed commitments and SLAs.
- Play an integral role in generating relevant leads, preparing reports, and managing projects within allocated budgets.
- Train employees to identify opportunities and ensure all parties deliver work within agreed timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and adhere to defined processes and business rules.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification advantageous (Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related fields).
- At least 4 years of experience in sales, marketing strategies, and channel management.
- Proven partnership management skills, with a focus on building trust-based relationships.
