About the Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding new business opportunities in Johannesburg. This is a key role that requires strong sales and customer relationship management skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective business plans and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales MRC of 1 x CTC Pipeline build of 4 x CTC monthly
- Conduct cold calling, prospecting, and networking to attend 10 new business customer meetings per week
- Stay fully trained and knowledgeable in the Vox product stack through regular training sessions or external courses as required by the business
- Solution sell key products to new customers
- Prospective presentations to potential customers
- Scope customized solutions to suit customer needs
- Manage the customer journey (customer relationship management)
- Develop sales & campaign planning strategies for the market
- Accurately and efficiently manage sales statistics and reports, including weekly pipeline reporting and forecasting
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of personal and company sales goals
- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets and precincts
- Efficiently manage workflow procedures within areas of operational responsibility
Requirements
- Grade 12
- 3 years successful direct new business acquisition sales experience (ISP/LCT/Telephony/OA)
- 3 Year ICT/LSP/Telephony/OA industry experience
