Job Description

Our client based in Rosebank, Johannesburg is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of relationship-building, sales strategies, and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities within the luxury automotive space. This role requires a confident communicator who thrives on achieving targets, building long-term client partnerships, and representing the brand with professionalism and flair. About them: They are a leading luxury-vehicle long-term rental company based in South Africa, offering clients the chance to drive the car of their dreams through flexible rental agreements. They partner with reputable dealerships nationwide and manage the acquisition and financing of premium vehicles on behalf of their clients. With a focus on seamless service and a commitment to making luxury accessible, they help clients choose the right vehicle, craft suitable terms and payments, and eliminate unexpected costs or market-risks from the process. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the luxury vehicle rental/automotive sector. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and dealership partners. Manage and grow existing key accounts, ensuring continued satisfaction, retention and growth. Conduct thorough client-needs assessments and probe strategically to pre-qualify leads. Actively visit clients and prospects spending time in the field to generate leads and maintain relationships. Collaborate with internal teams remotely, providing regular updates and participating in daily virtual meetings. Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets. Track, manage, and report on sales performance, pipeline activity and conversion metrics. Promote the brand and its offerings through social media engagement and industry networks. Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at trade shows, dealership visits and client meetings. Key Requirements: Matric Diploma in sales/marketing (preferred) Experience in business development, sales or account management within the automotive or luxury-vehicle sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Well-presented, professional demeanour with the ability to represent the brand effectively. Goal-oriented and target-driven, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Self-starter who takes initiative, manages time effectively and works independently. Social-media savvy able to leverage platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) to raise brand awareness, generate leads and engage prospects. Must be comfortable being out on the road regularly, visiting clients, dealerships and prospects. Valid drivers licence and reliable transport.

Manage and grow a portfolio of specialised investment intermediaries Source and onboard new intermediaries to expand market reach Retain and grow existing investment business across local, international, structured, and guaranteed products Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through proactive portfolio management Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, broker networks, and independent financial advisors Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and support Implement a structured intermediary support model to enhance engagement and efficiency Educate intermediaries and their support staff on investment products, platforms, and digital tools Facilitate training sessions to promote the use of digital systems and enhance product knowledge Identify and address intermediary needs related to technical support, reporting, and business development Drive participation in investment campaigns and product launches Deliver presentations and support product implementation initiatives Provide accurate and timely information on products, funds, and services to intermediaries Ensure all intermediary activities comply with relevant regulations (FAIS, FICA, POPIA) Maintain accurate records and adhere to internal compliance standards Coordinate with internal teams to maintain service level agreements (SLAs) Act as a liaison between intermediaries and product/service providers to resolve issues and enhance service delivery Job Experience and Skills Required: Relevant financial/investment qualification (Honours level preferred) Certified Financial Planner (CFP) FAIS exam advantageous Minimum 5 years in financial distribution (LISP or investment management experience preferred) Proven success in intermediary development and sales Strong technical knowledge of retail investments Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle Key Competencies Client-centric with strong relationship-building skills Resilient, results-driven, and collaborative Excellent communication and presentation abilities Entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving capabilities Confident, persuasive, and self-motivated Apply now!

Business Development Manager Campus Media Join a dynamic out-of-home media company connecting top brands with the student market. Gauteng | R30,000 to R70,000 per month(based on experience, skill, and current package) About Our Client Our client is a leading media solutions company specialising in out-of-home, digital, and experiential marketing across South Africa’s university campuses and student hubs. They’re known for delivering creative, high-impact campaigns that connect brands to young, influential audiences. With a collaborative, high-performance culture, this company empowers its people to grow their networks, innovate in the media space, and shape how brands speak to the next generation. The Role: Business Development Manager, Campus Media This role is focused on driving new business, managing key media agency relationships, and expanding the company’s footprint across OOH, TTL, and ATL channelYou’llull identify growth opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and close strategic deals that strengthen brand visibility across student and youth markets. Key Responsibilities 5 years of experience in media sales, with proven success managing agency and direct client relationships Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the media landscape Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and meet revenue targets Build strong relationships with decision-makers in media agencies and client organisations Manage the full sales process from lead generation to closing deals Conduct a minimum of eight (8) sales meetings per week, including client entertainment and agency visits Maintain expert knowledge of company inventory, including OOH, digital, transit, and activation media Prepare professional proposals and ensure accurate management of contracts and campaign documentation Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of client campaigns Keep informed of competitor offerings, industry changes. About You Minimum 5 years of experience in media sales (OOH media experience highly advantageous) Strong business development and negotiation skills with a hunter mentality Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and communication abilities Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook Strategic thinker with a high level of business acumen and entrepreneurial drive Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple clients and campaigns Professional, engaging, and confident in both corporate and social settings Willing to attend after-hours events and client entertainment as part of relationship management

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy and industrial sectors. Engage with clients to understand technical requirements and offer tailored energy solutions. Develop and manage sales strategies to achieve growth targets. Collaborate with technical teams to design and present optimal project proposals. Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and contractors. Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management. Requirements: BEng or BTech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification). Minimum 5 years experience in solution sales within the energy, renewables, or industrial automation sectors. Proven track record in developing new business and achieving sales targets.
