About the Role

A leading fashion and foundation-focused organisation is seeking an experienced Chief of Staff / Elite Executive Assistant to join their team in Johannesburg. This role will serve as the central operational anchor to a high-profile Founder and CEO, managing priorities across multiple entities while ensuring the seamless execution of strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, executive administration, travel coordination, and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the CEO’s calendar across multiple entities, ensuring effective prioritisation and time management.
  • Act as the primary gatekeeper for communications, correspondence, contract requests, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project tracking systems using Trello to monitor key initiatives, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate local and international travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation, and logistics.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders, sponsors, industry leaders, VIP guests, and strategic partners.
  • Coordinate executive-level events, including guest lists, seating plans, VIP protocols, and logistics.
  • Manage gifting initiatives, influencer campaigns, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Track, manage, and reconcile executive petty cash and operational expenses.
  • Coordinate administrative and operational requirements across multiple business entities and projects.
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain confidential documentation and executive records.
  • Support the CEO with special projects, follow-ups, and the execution of strategic priorities.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations through proactive planning, communication, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years experience supporting C-suite executives, founders, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, or managing executive office functions. Experience within fashion, events, public relations, non-profit organisations, foundations, or related industries would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Preferred Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
