A leading services organisation is seeking a hands-on Divisional Finance Manager to partner closely with operational leadership and take ownership of divisional financial performance. Based at the operational site in Elandsfontein, this role is responsible for protecting margins, enforcing financial discipline, improving working capital performance, and ensuring strong governance across a complex and client-critical division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in connecting financial insight with operational execution while supporting sustainable growth and profitability. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the Divisional General Manager, you will oversee financial reporting, wage governance, commercial analysis, audit readiness, systems optimisation, and business partnering activities. This position requires a strong operational mindset, excellent commercial acumen, and the confidence to challenge performance constructively while supporting business objectives. What You’ll Do • Own monthly management accounts through to trial balance and balance sheet level • Prepare divisional flash reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance analysis • Ensure integrity of general ledger, cost centres, and site-level financial data • Manage wage ratios, overtime, leave, bonuses, allowances, and workforce costs • Oversee payroll reconciliations across SAGE, D365, and PRP systems • Analyse revenue streams, margins, contract profitability, and pricing opportunities • Support tenders, contract reviews, and commercial decision-making • Drive debtors management, collections performance, and cash flow forecasting • Lead audit preparation, compliance initiatives, and governance improvements • Champion system adoption, process optimisation, and reporting enhancements • Partner with operational leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights • Lead, coach, and develop divisional finance teams What You Bring • BCom Finance, Accounting, or related qualification • CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification advantageous • 7–10 years’ experience within a services, facilities management, or labour-intensive environment • Strong operational finance, payroll, audit, and commercial finance experience • Proven ability to manage wage governance and workforce cost control • Experience with contract costing, profitability analysis, and working capital management • Advanced Excel skills with strong systems capability • Working knowledge of SAGE Payroll, Microsoft D365, and BI reporting tools • Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills • Ability to operate effectively in a site-based, fast-paced operational environment What Success Looks Like • Improved divisional profitability and margin protection • Strong financial controls and reporting accuracy • Effective wage and workforce cost governance • Sustainable contract profitability and commercial decision-making • Improved working capital and cash flow performance • Positive audit outcomes and strong compliance standards • Greater operational visibility through accurate reporting and analytics • High-performing finance teams that add measurable business value
