Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and supervise the installation of electrical systems in buildings and other structures
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction, installation and standards and specifications
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design, specifications and established standards
- Plan and conduct field surveys to locate and mark structures and equipment for installation of electrical systems
- Prepare reports and specifications for constructing, repairing or modifying electrical systems
- Supervise and train project team members as needed
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng)
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and codes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
