About the Role
The Head of Digital role at our client’s media agency is an exciting opportunity to lead the digital department and drive strategic direction, performance, and growth for all digital clients. As a key leader, you will oversee a team of 12 specialists and ensure that client campaigns deliver measurable business outcomes while maintaining platform performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the digital and paid media strategy across the agency’s client portfolio to ensure campaigns align with business objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
- Maintain hands-on expertise in setting up, managing, optimising, and reporting on advertising campaigns across major digital platforms.
- Oversee platform administration, account structures, tracking implementation, and technical digital requirements across client accounts.
- Manage digital platform billing processes, account reconciliations, project profitability, and departmental resource allocation.
- Prepare digital marketing quotations, proposals, scopes of work, and compelling presentations for both new and existing clients.
- Drive business development initiatives, participate in new business meetings, and lead client pitch presentations to support revenue targets.
Requirements
- 7-10 years’ experience in digital marketing.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a senior leadership or management role.
- Proven experience managing large client portfolios and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated experience developing digital strategies and overseeing integrated digital campaigns across multiple industries and platforms.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience managing advertising campaigns within Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Salary & Benefits
R60 000 – R65 000 per annum.
