About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator role is an office-based function in our logistics department, responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, managing import and export operations, and ensuring timely, accurate communication with customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with local and international freight forwarders
- Managing and tracking shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and providing regular status updates
- Preparing and managing all logistics documentation (invoices, packing lists, PODs, BOLs, customs and import/export documentation)
- Processing logistics transactions and purchase orders on an ERP system (Infor LN experience preferred)
- Liaising with suppliers, transport providers, warehouses, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues
- Supporting inventory movement, stock control, and cost monitoring
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, INCOTERMS, ISO requirements, and company policies
Requirements
- A Logistics Management diploma or degree (or similar qualification)
- 1–5 years’ experience in a logistics role within a similar industry
- Strong working knowledge of import and export procedures, shipping documentation, and customs requirements
- Good understanding of INCOTERMS, procurement processes, and corporate governance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics / ERP systems (Infor LN or similar advantageous)
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- A high level of attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
