Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Financial Manager in the execution of daytoday finance functions
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly financial reports, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts
  • Conduct balance sheet reviews, follow up on queries, and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Maintain strong corporate governance and internal controls, including audit reviews
  • Perform analytical reviews, cost analysis, profitability reporting, and key statistics monitoring
  • Prepare board packs, manage capex budgets, and assist with feasibility studies and adhoc projects

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree (minimum requirement)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounting role
  • Hospitality industry experience advantageous
  • Strong exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Skills:

  • SAP (S/4HANA) experience
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and the Companies Act
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills

Other nonnegotiables:

  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Willingness to travel to hotels in the Western and Eastern Cape
  • High attention to detail and strong timemanagement skills
