Job Description
As Financial Director, you will:
- Lead and manage the full finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls
- Oversee all financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and international standards
- Deliver monthly management accounts and full income statement reporting to global stakeholders
- Analyse financial performance against budget and prior periods, providing actionable insights
- Partner closely with global teams (Reporting, AP, Treasury, Invoicing, and Customs) to ensure seamless financial operations
- Act as the key liaison with external stakeholders including auditors, tax authorities, and consultants
- Lead audit processes, including preparation of audit files and finalisation of annual financial statements
- Oversee credit control to ensure optimal cash flow and targeted collection periods
- Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, complete, and fully supported
- Serve as the Key Individual and Public Officer for the South African entity
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional qualification (CA(SA), CPA, or equivalent) highly advantageous
- 10+ years’ experience in finance, with strong leadership and managerial exposure
- Experience in a multinational or complex environment (logistics or similar industry preferred)
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in MS Office (ACCPAC advantageous)
