As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to ensure that solutions are aligned to business objectives and implemented successfully. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle and contributing to both strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements through stakeholder engagement
• Translate requirements into clear documentation such as specifications and user stories 
• Map current and future processes to support system improvements 
• Support testing activities including user acceptance and production validation 
• Conduct impact assessments and identify risks linked to changes 
• Assist development teams by ensuring requirements are well understood and implemented correctly
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field
• Business analysis certification is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years in a business analysis role within an IT environment
• Experience within insurance, financial services, or similar industries is advantageous 
• Exposure to working with distributed teams and external vendors
• Strong understanding of testing processes and delivery lifecycles
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders
• Understanding of agile and traditional delivery approaches 
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
