About the Role
Our client in the industrial / manufacturing services industry is looking to employ a Production Manager to join their team based in Johannesburg. A wonderful career opportunity awaits you!
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee all production activities
- Ensure products are manufactured on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements
- Identify potential production risks and implement preventative solutions
- Drive operational efficiency and reduce waste
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Production / Operations / Supply Chain qualification advantageous
- Minimum 5 years experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience within construction or industrial manufacturing advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of production processes and systems
- Understanding of stock control and inventory management
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
- Technical fault finding and problem-solving
