Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the electronics manufacturing and OEM sectors. Develop long-term customer relationships through face-to-face visits and technical consultations. Conduct product presentations and on-site client meetings. Provide accurate quotations and oversee the full sales cycle to ensure timely project delivery. Work closely with technical support teams and international suppliers to find the best-fit solutions. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Ensure excellent after-sales service and ongoing client satisfaction. Job Experience & Skills Required: 35 years experience in external sales, ideally in the electronics industry. Sound knowledge of electronic components, including semiconductors and passives. Valid Code B drivers license and own reliable vehicle. Based in or near the East Rand / Boksburg area. Strong selling skills with a technical mindset. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities within automation, electrical, control & instrumentation markets. Engage with customers at engineering and decision-maker level to understand operational challenges and propose technical solutions. Prepare quotations, tenders, and technical proposals, ensuring accurate scope and costing. Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure feasibility and solution alignment. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to existing and new clients. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure excellent after-sales support. Requirements National Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar. 3 7 years experience in automation, E,C&I, PLC/SCADA, or instrumentation sales . Proven ability to sell technical solutions into industrial sectors. Solid understanding of automation architectures, instrumentation products, and control systems. Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills. Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
