About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Security Operations Administrator to join our team in Mondeor, Johannesburg. This role sits at the centre of a fast-moving security operation, where accuracy, pressure, urgency and discipline are part of daily life. Your work will directly impact officers on the ground, clients, payroll, compliance and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Vehicle Administration: Fuel slips, mileage logs, licence tracking, inspection sheets, record-keeping across multiple sites.
  • Perform Office Administration: Posting sheets, time sheets, meeting minutes, file control, operational support, daily communications.
  • Handle Reporting: Incident reports, weekly summaries, monthly operational packs, data verification, uploading to systems.
  • Coordinate Orders & Payments: Requisitions, consumables, approvals, payment requests, coordinating with finance and procurement.
  • Maintain Personnel Files & HR Documentation: Inductions, PSIRA renewals, contracts, file accuracy, confidential document management, tracking expiry dates.
  • Provide General Support: Mail distribution, printing, presentations, staff queries, communication flow across branches.
  • Assist with Payroll & ESS: Hours worked, leave, roster updates, ESS training & support, submitting documents for month-end processing.
  • Manage Firearm File & Compliance Management: Inspection sheets, control registers, compliance documentation, updating firearm files, monthly submissions.

Requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • 2 years admin experience
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel is your friend)
  • Experience with time & attendance or HR/payroll admin = a big advantage
