This strategic finance role partners directly with senior leadership and the CFO, shaping financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance insights for a key business unit. You will be the trusted voice behind strategic decisions, turning data into direction and financial models into meaningful conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full financial planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Deliver accurate monthly reporting and provide insights into business performance and financial trends.
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and cost management.
- Monitor performance against targets and provide recommendations to boost profitability and operational efficiency.
- Translate complex financial data into simple, strategic insights even non-finance people can understand.
Requirements
Relevant Finance Degree (Postgraduate qualification advantageous). CA(SA), CIMA, or similar professional qualification preferred. 5 years in financial management, FP&A, or commercial finance. Experience within banking or financial services. Proven experience partnering with senior leadership or executive teams.
