Johannesburg South: Financial Controller posted by Network Finance

As our Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the financial health of our manufacturing operations. This includes budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and supporting continuous improvement across our finance function. You’ll be a trusted advisor to senior management, bringing financial clarity to decision-making.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Perform detailed cost accounting and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
• Partner with operations teams to drive efficiency and margin improvement
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior stakeholders
• Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors

 
 
What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
• Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors (essential)
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory controls
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
