About the Role
Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Service Manager to lead our technical service team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through effective service management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of technicians to deliver high-quality technical services to customers
- Develop and implement service management strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and address customer needs, driving revenue growth
- Conduct site visits and workshops to provide technical support and training to customers
- Lead the development and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge bases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a Management-related field
- At least 5 years of senior management experience in a service and sales-driven organisation
- Strong customer orientation with a proven track record in service management
- Hands-on experience as a technician, either in the field or in a workshop environment
- Strong leadership skills
