Hire Resolves client is seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Electrician to join their team in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive electrical systems and components, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in vehicles of all makes and models.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles, including wiring, lights, batteries, and electronic systems
• Install and maintain electrical components, such as alarms, GPS systems, and entertainment systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Test and troubleshoot electrical components to identify and resolve problems
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or N2 Technical Equivalent qualification.
• Qualified Auto Electrician on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment.
• Extensive experience of Hitachi, Caterpillar, Bell, Komatsu, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, and various ancillary equipment would be an advantage.
• At least 10 years post trade test experience an advantage.
• Must be medically fit.
