About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in Kempton Park, responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment
  • Conduct regular site visits and progress evaluations
  • Lead, manage, and develop technical teams
  • Ensure effective resource allocation for project execution
  • Drive productivity and operational efficiency
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and cost control
  • Approve invoices, purchase orders, and payment schedules
  • Manage subcontractor agreements, rates, and contracts
  • Coordinate weekly meetings
  • Procurement
  • Revenue and cost tracking
  • Compile and submit reports to the Operations Director
  • Conduct weekly reviews on progress, budget, and forward planning
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
  • Work closely with SHEQ to enforce safety standards and procedures

Requirements

  • BTech / BSc in Civil Engineering
  • Registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as: Professional Civil Engineer / Technologist / Technician
  • OR Registered with South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as: Professional Construction Project Manager / Construction Manager
  • Minimum 10 years experience in civil infrastructure projects
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle (advantageous)
