About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team in Kempton Park. As the end-to-end owner of our large and active debtor’s book, you will be responsible for driving collections and cash flow performance, while also collaborating closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining debtor accounts (±450–600 accounts monthly)
- Driving collections and cash flow performance
- Processing invoices, credit notes, and reconciliations
- Resolving queries and disputes with professionalism and urgency
- Monitoring credit limits, risk, and compliance
- Supporting credit insurance processes and reporting risk
- Preparing cash flow inputs and supporting month-end processes
- Collaborating closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations
Requirements
- 5–7 years’ commercial credit control experience
- Proven experience managing an active debtor’s book (R20m–R25m)
- Strong background in collections, reconciliations, and query resolution
- Solid understanding of credit risk, limits, and insurance
- Experience working on an ERP system (MS Business Central or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Relevant studies in Credit Management or Accounting (advantageous)
