Kimberley: MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN – KIMBERLEY

About the Role

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a trade tested and experienced Maintenance Electrician for a well-established company based in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance process and team for the branch, as well as coordinating and maintaining the health and safety system.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the maintenance process and team for the branch
• Coordinate and maintain the health and safety system at the branch
• Act as a supportive function to the Boilermaker/Welder and Plant Manager
• Possess strong mechanical and electrical abilities
• Knowledge and experience in PLC controls
• Strong understanding of safety rules in the manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with electrical laws

Requirements

• Trade tested Electrician
• Valid driver’s license/own reliable vehicle
• 3 years previous working experience in a similar position
• Working experience in automation and conveyors

Qualifications

• Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
