About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Yard/Operation Manager to join our team in Kimberley, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a steel manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate yard activities, ensuring efficient material handling and storage.
  • Oversee operation of production lines, monitoring productivity and quality control.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, production, and maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • National Certificate in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, logistics).
  • Valid Licence to operate heavy machinery or equipment.
  • Previous experience as Yard Manager and Operation Manager in a steel manufacturing environment.
