About the Role
The Logistics Supervisor position at Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is a key role that requires a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and supervisory experience. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the transportation and supply chain operations in our mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate transport operations to ensure efficient delivery of goods and materials.
- Supervise and train junior staff members to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, tracking stock movements and reporting discrepancies.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Grade 12 and/or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience in transport and supply chain management in mining environment.
- At least 1-year supervisory experience.
- Valid drivers license.
- Willingness to travel between sites as required.
