About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a background in foundations and lines/substation experience to join our team based in Kuruman/Hotazel (Northern, Cape). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accurate and safe execution of all foundation works for our transmission line project.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the accurate and safe execution of all foundation works
- Excavation, reinforcement, and concrete placement for the transmission line project
- Monitor, control, and report on all activities in the Project
- Exposure to contracts management including NEC and other Eskom/NTCSA procedures
- Processes and Protocol HV Regs Authorisation and internal Eskom course (advantageous)
Requirements
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Management Trade test or equivalent technical qualification in Civil works (advantageous)
- Valid construction safety training (e.g. SHE, OHS, First Aid, Heights)
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Foundation works supervisory role
- Proven track record in Lines and substations experience on Project Environment
