About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Sales Executive to join our team in Midrand. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of driving new business growth and delivering complex sales solutions to C-level executives. With 8 years of experience in business development and selling within a consulting and professional services organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development for Strategic/Transformational Enterprise Level Systems Integration
- C-level Client engagement, ability to understand business context and shape sales of Technology solutions
- Creation of compelling sales collateral aligned to market and client needs
- Identification of enterprise level opportunities
- Ownership of sales process remaining accountable for outcomes from concept to close
- Building and maintaining C-level and key client relationships
- Achieving Sales, Revenue and Profit Objectives/Targets
- Understanding client business context and challenges and mapping Gijima offerings to these
- Providing timely and accurate feedback to Gijima team
- Enlisting support from key stakeholders within Gijima
- Maintaining an accurate view of pipeline
- Demonstrating excellent communication and presentation skills
Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF 4) Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields (NQF 6)
- 8 years experience in business development and selling within a consulting and professional services organization
- Progressive sales experience in the Information Technology Outsourcing market
- Selling at C-level with knowledge and experience in selling managed services
- Exposure to cloud, security and mobility solutions in closing complex deals
- History of exceeding quotas and demonstrating sales development with complex sales supporting mission critical projects
Qualifications
- Sales and/or Business Development certification will be beneficial
- Other technical certifications and qualifications will be beneficial
- Financial Management certification will be beneficial
- Certifications or a working understanding in Conceptual Selling
