About the Role

The Production Planner is a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of goods, aligned with customer demand and business objectives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to drive manufacturing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
• Align production plans with customer orders and demand forecasts.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules where required.
• Liaise closely with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Sales teams.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials to support production requirements.
• Track, analyse, and resolve production shortages, delays, and downtime.
• Maintain accurate planning records, reports, and performance data.
• Support inventory control and stock management processes.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Production, Operations, or a related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in production planning or factory planning.
• Experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments will be advantageous.
