Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and guest-focused Lodge Anchor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences and is comfortable working across different areas of lodge operations. We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring additional skills, whether as a front-of-house professional able to assist with occasional guiding duties, or as a maintenance savvy guide with strong guest relations and front-of-house capabilities.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding guest service throughout the guest journey.
  • Welcome, host, and assist guests during their stay.
  • Coordinate guest activities, schedules, and special requests.
  • Ensure guest areas are presented to the highest standards.
  • Support smooth day-to-day lodge operations.
  • Liaise effectively with housekeeping, kitchen, guiding, and maintenance teams.
  • Assist with guest activities and experiences as required.
  • Where suitably qualified, provide occasional game drives or guided experiences.
  • Assist in other operational departments when needed to support the lodge team.

Core Criteria: 

  • Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations, lodge operations, or guiding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and willing to assist across multiple departments.
  • Valid driver’s licence preferred.
  • Guiding qualifications and experience advantageous.
  • Maintenance or technical skills advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Must have own vehicle
