Job Description

Contribute to a finance function focused on accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement Engage in diverse accounting responsibilities that support strategic decision‑making Work in a collaborative environment with opportunities to refine and enhance financial processes What you will be doing: Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare monthly financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, and other tax regulations General Ledger & Reconciliations Oversee general ledger accuracy and timely postings Perform bank, account, and intercompany reconciliations Investigate and resolve discrepancies Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts Monitor performance against budget and prepare variance analysis Cash Flow & Treasury Management Manage accounts payable and receivable to optimise working capital Ensure timely processing of payments and collections Financial Systems & Process Improvement Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls Promote best‑practice financial management and reporting methods What we are looking for: Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ACCA/CPA certification preferred 3-5 years’ experience in financial accounting Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax legislation Proficient in accounting software (Sage Evolution advantageous) Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability High attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Attributes Strong ethical standards and integrity Proactive, solutions‑driven mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong organisational and time‑management skills Benefits and unique aspects: Opportunity to drive meaningful improvements in financial processes Exposure to multiple areas within the finance function Role stability with clear performance indicators and development potential If you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
