About the Role
Plan, manage, and optimise daily production processes within the precast concrete manufacturing site/facility to ensure efficient workflow and output. This role requires a strong understanding of production planning, process optimisation, and quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and optimise daily production processes within the precast concrete manufacturing site/facility.
- Improve production efficiency, workflow, and output through engineering best practices.
- Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Support quality control and ensure compliance with SANS, SANRAL, and internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with design, maintenance, logistics, and management teams to ensure seamless production delivery.
- Assist with process improvements, tooling, mould optimisation, and costsaving initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and operational standards on the production floor.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment.
- Exposure to precast concrete, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing advantageous.
- Strong understanding of production planning, process optimisation, and quality systems.
- Practical, hands-on engineering mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
- Competent in MS Office and production reporting tools.

- BTech in Civil Engineering
