About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Construction Manager to oversee the successful execution of large-scale industrial, mining, and Eskom-related projects based in Lephalale, Limpopo. The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary construction teams across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I, and Technical disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for industrial and mining plant projects.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I, and Technical departments.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee construction planning, implementation, and daily site operations.
  • Manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site resources effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with Eskom standards, site regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Interpret and review technical, engineering, and hydraulic drawings and specifications.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Drive productivity, quality assurance, and continuous improvement on site.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
  • Support project commissioning and handover activities where required.

Requirements

Relevant Engineering Degree or Diploma. SACPCMP registration is essential. Minimum 10 years experience in Construction Management within industrial, mining, plant, or Eskom-related environments. Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project execution in heavy industrial environments.

Salary bracket: R 90000 – 100000

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Must be willing to relocate to Lephalale for the duration of the project. Must meet Eskom site clearance and medical fitness requirements. Immediate availability preferred.
