Interior decorator focusses on creating visually pleasing environments tailored to the clients’ preferences and lifestyle. The ideal candidate will be responsible to meet with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and budgets. Develop design concepts and themes for interior spaces. Select colour schemes, furniture, textiles, lighting, artwork, and accessories. Source and purchase décor items, furnishings, and materials. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project. Arrange and style interior spaces to achieve desired look and feel. Provide awareness of industry trends, products, and innovations. Manage projects timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion. The ideal candidate must have a formal qualification in interior decorating or related field. Proven experience as an interior decorator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Ability to manage multiple projects. Strong sense of style, colour, and special relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity and artistic ability. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of current interior design trends and materials. Ability to work within a budget and meet deadlines.
