Newton Park Warehouse Supervisor – automotive spares

Legal requirements: Must be a South African Citizen with a clean criminal background and a valid drivers license – checks will be done on shortlisted applicants.
Appointment: Permanent, full-time position
Salary: R 9500 – R10 000 (basic salary)
Benefits: Provident Fund and December Bonus
Working hours: Working Hours: Monday Friday (08:00 to 17:00) & Saturday 08:00 13:00

  • Criminal background check and license verifications will be done.
  • Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse facility, ensuring that all logistics processesfrom receiving and storage to picking and shippingare executed efficiently, safely, and accurately.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse activities, including inbound shipments, inventory placement, and outbound order fulfillment.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff. Conduct performance reviews and foster a productive work environment.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical audits.

  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations (OHSA). Ensure all equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is maintained and operated safely.

  • Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement process improvements to increase throughput.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all stock movements using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software.

  • 35 years in warehouse operations, with at least 12 years in a leadership role.
