Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Wheel Making Superintendent Designate to oversee maintenance operations within our Wheel Making division and support the overall maintenance function across the site.

Minimum Requirements

  • Red Seal Trade Qualification (Mechanical or Industrial Electrical) Essential
  • National Diploma Advantageous
  • Supervisory Qualification Advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years’ maintenance experience in an automotive and/or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with fault finding, maintenance planning, and asset management systems
  • Sound knowledge of the OHS Act, ISO 50001 and IATF16949
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CMMS systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance activities within the Wheel Making area
  • Ensure equipment and site services are available to meet production requirements
  • Control and monitor maintenance budgets and critical spare parts
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Drive energy-saving initiatives and support plant energy management
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Provide maintenance support and leadership to the team when required
