About the Role

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Firmware Engineer to join our team in Pretoria East. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for implementing and integrating firmware on custom electronic hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement various signal processing and cryptographic algorithms on FPGAs
  • Implement control and data interfaces between processors, DSPs, and FPGAs
  • Implement and simulate custom and off-the-shelf IP blocks
  • Integrate and test firmware and software on custom electronic hardware platforms
  • Provide production support on developed firmware
  • Maintain and improve the FPGA build and development ecosystem

Requirements

  • BEng (Electronic Engineering) or BEng (Computer Engineering)
  • 0-5 years of working experience in firmware or low-level embedded software development
