We are seeking a passionate and experienced Grade R teacher to join our Foundation Phase team in Northriding. About the role: Grade R Teacher
As our Grade R teacher, youll be responsible for creating a warm, structured, and engaging learning environment where young learners can build strong foundations for future academic success. Youll support learners social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through purposeful play, structured learning, and creative exploration.
Your responsibilities
Teach and facilitate learning for Grade R learners
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
Develop foundational literacy, numeracy, fine motor, gross motor, and social skills
Create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating classroom environment
Use play-based and inquiry-based learning to support learner development
Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback to parents and school leadership
Support learners emotional development, independence, and confidence
Collaborate with fellow educators in a supportive and innovative team
Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching
Contribute to Radleys entrepreneurial and future-focused school culture
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Foundation Phase Education non-negotiable
SACE registered with valid certification non-negotiable
Experience teaching Grade R or Foundation Phase learners
Strong understanding of early childhood development and school readiness
Passionate about nurturing young learners and building strong educational foundations
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Creative, warm, patient, and highly organised
Comfortable working in a small, high-impact, entrepreneurial school environment
